Conventional Water Heater

Conventional water heaters are the simplest type of water heaters installed in homes. They are composed of a tank, which will store a designated amount of water, typically found in 40-, 50-, or 60-gallon capacities. These heaters include a burner assembly with an active flame to heat the water and maintain a consistent temperature and a vent connected to a chimney. These water heaters are very reliable and do not require a power source– They only use natural gas/propane, so you’ll still have hot water even if you have no electricity.
